Exploring Wadi rum desert-Jordan

Wadi Rum or "The moon valley" is a desert valley in the south of Jordan and is well-known for its red sand.

The landscape is awe-inspiring and during your stay you have the chance to become immersed in the Bedouin life. You can also experience jeep tours, camel 🐪 rides, mountain hiking, trekking and you can also taste the Bedouin specialty dishes.

In conclusion, exploring the Wadi ram desert was the most amazing experience during my visit to Jordan.

Η Ουαντι Ραμ η αλλιώς "Κοιλάδα της Σελήνης" είναι μια έρημος στα νότια της Ιορδανίας γνωστή για την κόκκινη άμμο.

Το τοπίο προκαλεί δέος και κατά την διάρκεια της διαμονής σας έχετε την ευκαιρία να  μυηθείτε στην ζωή των Βεδουίνων. Μπορείτε επίσης να δοκιμάσετε εκδρομές με τζιπ, βόλτες με καμήλες, πεζοπορία . Ακόμη μπορείτε να γευθείτε τις τοπικές Βεδουινικες σπεσιαλιτέ.

Συμπερασματικά, η εξερεύνηση της Waudi Rum ίσως ήταν η πιο εκπληκτική εμπειρία κατά την επίσκεψη μου στην Ιορδανία.

A day trip in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

I had seen photos from Garmisch Partenkirchen and i always wanted to visit. So, during my stay to Munich, i took the train and almost in 1 hour and a half i was there. GaPa is a beautiful town and one of the most popular ski resorts in Germany only 90 km south of Munich, close to Austrian borders. Characteristic feature of GaPa is the beautyfully painted buildings with bucolic and religious representations according to the Bavarian architecture. 

For the history, GaPa hosted the 1936 winter Olympic Games, which were the last before the 12 year break due to the 2nd World War.

Είχα δει φωτογραφίες απο το Γκάρμις-Παρτενκίρχεν και πάντοτε ήθελα  να το επισκεφθώ. Ετσι κατά την παραμονή μου στο Μόναχο, πήρα το τρένο και σε περίπου 1 ώρα και μισή ήμουν εκεί.

Το Γκάρμις-Παρτενκίρχεν είναι μια πανέμορφη κωμόπολη και ένα απο τα δημοφιλέστερα χιονοδρομικά θέρετρα της Γερμανίας, 90 χλμ νότια του Μονάχου, κοντά στα Αυστριακά σύνορα.

Χαρακτηριστικό γνώρισμα  του είναι τα υπέροχα ζωγραφισμένα σπίτια με βουκολικές και Βιβλικές παραστάσεις σύμφωνα με την Βαυαρέζικη  αρχιτεκτονική.

Για την ιστορία, το Γκάρμις-Παρτενκίρχεν  το 1936 φιλοξένησε τους χειμερινούς Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες, τους τελευταίους πριν απο την 12ετη διακοπή  λόγω του Β΄Παγκοσμίου πολέμου.
